Sara Kumar is a high school student at the American Embassy School in Delhi, where she studies Language and Literature, Economics, Biology, Math, History, and Spanish. Holding a deep-running interest in the intersections of how legal frameworks enable sociopolitical justice, she is passionate about exploring questions of inclusive governance within urban settings.
Participating in Brown University’s pre-college course titled “Comparative Legal Systems and International Criminal Justice” at the Summer@Brown program allowed her to further pursue these strands with greater nuance. Sara also has an extensive history of school leadership, and has served as the Executive Leader of the AES High School Ambassador Programme since November 2023; she is also a member of the Class Council for 2023-2024. In these capacities, she focused on organizing school events and advocating for the needs of her peers. In her free time, she loves to write, and has also served as the Editor of the Roar Replay, a student-run YouTube channel at AES. END+ is a project of passion for her, as she hopes to use this platform to put her theoretical knowledge to practical use and make a difference.
